This helps us understand how the site is being used, improve performance, and maintain security.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data through this website, including health information, financial records, government identifiers, or biometric data.
A word on marketing consent
Important, before you hit submit
When you fill out any form on our site, you will see an unchecked checkbox asking whether you would like to hear from us about our work, events, insights, or updates.
It will never be pre-selected.
Checking it is entirely your choice.
If you do not check it, we will still respond to your inquiry. We simply will not add you to any marketing communication list beyond what is necessary to answer your request.
Submitting a form without that box checked only authorises us to respond to the specific question you sent us.
Every form also includes a direct link to this Privacy Notice so you know what you are agreeing to.
You can withdraw consent at any time by emailing business@qed42.com or by using the unsubscribe link in any email we send.
Why we process your data
We only process personal data when there is a clear reason to do so.
That usually means one of these:
- You contacted us, and we need your details to reply
- You gave us permission to stay in touch
- We need basic analytics to understand site performance
- We are required to retain certain records for legal, contractual, or operational reasons
If you contact us about a project, partnership, hiring discussion, event, or business question, we use your information only to understand the request and continue that conversation where relevant.
If you opt into updates, we may occasionally send communication related to our work, ideas, events, or offerings.
Third-party systems we use
Parts of our website rely on external service providers to function properly.
These may include systems used for:
- Website analytics
- CRM and lead management
- Email communication
- Advertising and remarketing
- Visitor intelligence and organisation-level traffic understanding
Some tools may match technical visit data, such as IP addresses, against external databases to infer company-level information, such as organisation name or industry. This helps us understand whether relevant organisations are engaging with our content.
This does not automatically identify you as an individual unless you choose to contact us directly.
Where relevant, our cookie notice provides additional detail on technologies used, including systems such as Leadfeeder, LinkedIn, and similar analytics or advertising tools.
We do not purchase personal lead databases from third parties.
AI and automated processing
Because we work in AI, this deserves a direct answer.
If you submit information through our website, that information is not used to train internal AI models or public language models.
Where AI-assisted systems are used internally, they are limited to operational support such as summarisation, workflow assistance, internal drafting support, or analysis under controlled access.
If limited operational data is processed through external AI-enabled services, this is governed by contractual controls and restricted to the original business purpose for which the information was collected.
We do not make automated decisions about individuals that create legal or significant personal effects.
How long do we keep it
We do not keep lead data indefinitely.
If you contact us through a form, email, or business inquiry, we retain that information for up to 24 months from the last meaningful interaction, unless a longer retention period is required for legal, contractual, tax, compliance, or financial recordkeeping.
If you unsubscribe from marketing communication, we retain only the minimum information required to make sure you are not contacted again unintentionally.
Analytics data is retained according to the configuration of the systems we use and reviewed periodically.
Where your data may go
QED42 works with teams, systems, and service providers across multiple regions.
Your data may therefore be processed in India and, where required, by service providers operating in other countries that help us run our website, analytics systems, communication tools, or business infrastructure.
Where cross-border processing happens, we apply reasonable safeguards consistent with applicable privacy expectations.

Depending on where you are located, you may have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you
- Ask for inaccurate information to be corrected
- Ask for deletion where legally possible
- Withdraw consent

- Request a copy of your data
To request any of this, email business@qed42.com
